The thing about lifetime Supreme Court appointments is that it prevents presidents from owning the justices they appoint. They'll do their own thing no matter what the president wants them to do. While they might not always rule the way we'd like, whatever they decide, it won't be because Trump wants it.

The threat isn't to SCOTUS. It's instructions to his boogaloo creeps to go destroy ballots if possible and riot.
