is that ALL of the cops on the scene enthusiastically participate in the brutality. We hardly ever see any video in which one cop steps in and protects the victim from his colleagues.

Solitary, and for five years.

A firing squad is too good for them. Let them go slowly mad. Then let them out into the prison yard for another five years, and let the general prison population play with the "crazy guys from solitary." Don't destroy their bodies. We have to do something about all the authoritarians,

I'd rather not establish the death penalty as a standard sentence. The Republicans make too much use of it as it is. NO sonese in giving them a reason to increase their use of it. With Injustice Phony Carrot on the SC, she'll probably prescribe the death penalty for jaywalking, since there is probably some biblical reference to it somewhere.

Scott Lee Rexroat in Palm Harbor protesting President Donald Trump. In a video, he could be seen detained and punched by Pinellas County Sheriff’s deputies. Posted to Facebook on 1 Nov. 2020.

Scott Rexroat draped himself in a Confederate flag and wore a face shield with a picture of President Donald Trump’s face on it. The 59-year-old musician held signs critical of Trump. One sign turned vice-presidential candidate Kamala Harris’s first name into an acronym. It read Keep America Make America Love again.

Rexroat was arrested after deputies said he was instigating fights and struck a deputy who was trying to pull him away. Deputies said he carried signs with swastikas But witnesses said that’s not how it happened.

A woman who asked not to be named for fear of retribution recorded the arrest.

“The police went from behind him and grabbed his arm. And he didn’t know who was after him. And he was saying I didn’t do anything and the cops proceeded to beat the, stomp the living out of him,” she said. “It was horrible. It was absolutely horrible.”

Wentz said the Sheriff’s Office’s account isn’t accurate.

“There was no Nazi, there was no swastika,” she said. “There was nothing. The policeman came out of the blue.”

PALM HARBOR, Fla. (WFLA) — A Clearwater man was arrested Sunday for mocking Trump supporters at a political rally in Palm Harbor then assaulting a police officer, the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office said.

According to deputies, Scott Rexroat showed up at the rally at Nebraska Avenue and US-19 wearing a rebel flag, a Trump mask, and carrying a sign with Swastikas. He was allegedly taking photos with Trump supporters while calling them Nazis.

The altercations almost caused several fights as Trump supporters were pushing Rexroat out of their face, deputies said.

As a Pinellas deputy tried to pull Rexroat away from the supporters, the deputy said Rexroat struck him in the arm and shoulder. Rexroat was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct and battery on a law enforcement officer.

“I thought it was a Trump supporter doing that and I just went like that,” Rexroat told 8 On Your Side as he walked out of the county jail. “There were no swastikas like it says in the police report. I can read it here. It sounds like a bunch of fabricated lies to me. That I was instigating a riot. You know?”

Rexroat says it was only after he was on the ground did the deputy identify himself as a law enforcement officer. He says if he had known it was a deputy he would not have tried defending himself.

Whitney, who didn’t want to use her last name, tells a similar story.

“I saw the one officer repeatedly hit him with his elbow and with his fist and I didn’t see the other officers doing that,” said Whitney. “There were no, there were other times of the day where there were almost fights, but there were no fights on that corner.“

Trumpsters will lie when the truth sounds better. I wonder where they got that habit from?.....

A family friend volunteers in a courthouse with Victim Services. One day, during a lunch break or something, people were chilling in the hallway; a couple of policemen were nearby, just chatting. And then someone on the floor below yelled "DON'T DO IT!!!!"

Well, it's a courthouse, not a Wendy's, so naturally everyone instantly assumed a gun was involved. So everyone ran for their lives, away from the stairwell. Everyone but the policemen. They ran as fast towards the situation as everyone else ran away. That's heroic.

And a dear, dear family friend is a police officer. He is 100% a good guy. Absolutely the salt of the earth.

So when everyone started saying that ACAB, and that they're all fascistic and authoritarian, I resisted. Surely it's just a few. The minority. One in a hundred, if that. The rest of them bravely, courageously, heroically would risk their lives in an instant to keep us civilians safe. Right? Right? Well, maybe not, if they just don’t like us.

I do still believe that there are some good ones. I know a good one. But damn. My eyes have been opened.
