i don't know, and i don't trust the media, but i'm start to think their coverage of donnie

is going to *very* different after he's branded a *loser*.

i think there are going to be some pissed off republican senators after donnie causes them to lose the senate. obviously the ones who lose re-election will be pissed, but the ones who remain will be pissed at becoming a minority party.

and the "access" the media overvalues so much and that donnie uses to control the media won't mean much anymore. they'll be angling for access to biden/harris instead.

i assume they'll still be biased in favor of the right wing as they always are, but i do think there will be quite a bit of criticism over where he went wrong and how badly he campaigned and so on.

plus i think they might finally admit he's no great political genius, he's just plain crazy.

it was known he was going to tell all Americans to kill themselves, would a responsible media carry it?

What he is going to do is no different, he is going to LIE and say he has won and any counting of votes is illegal, which it isnt.

DO NOT CARRY the puke fascist treason that will projectile vomit from his disgusting face!

Yes, let’s just pretend that a known morally defective sociopath might be good for the nation’s highest office.

Fuckers.

Just like the Dubya years, the media will collectively shrug that nobody knows how that guy got elected, it's just one of those things that happened, and we were totally hard on Trump as evidenced by this 23 second spot where we cast a shadow of a doubt on whether Trump was going to deliver in two weeks on his long-awaited health care legislation to replace the Affordable Care Act.

He can keep doing the same shitty things all the way to January or he can wise up and do a few good things for the American people like COVID relief. Yeah, I don't think he will either.

That will make the rightwing bias forced to be fair. Fox if it continues being right wing only and oann will be shut down if they don't play fair and let Dems on the air too. Fox news needs to be shut down and that abomination murdoch deported.

Fox News and OAN wouldn't have been in their jurisdiction.

Murdoch can't be deported - he's been a naturalized citizen since 1985. That train long left the station.

Chris Wallace at Fox News, of all places, has been taking shots at Trump for months. Those shots ramped up after the debate debacle.

Lots of places do real-time fact-checking of Trump or follow up shortly after he makes an appearance or speech. The number of outlets doing so has increased greatly during his term. So much of what he said in 2016 went unchallenged. Now, he's barely said something and it's being challenged. The reported claim that he was going to declare early victory was savaged so quickly that he had to pretend he never said it.

"he's no great political genius"

No, but he's a pretty good judge of (poor) character, particularly in regard to *his* people, and an excellent manipulator of, as he calls them, the poorly educated. That was enough in 2016. It won't be near enough in 2020.
