(18,402 posts)several weeks ago. It feels a little anticlimactic. In pandemic time it feels like months ago. And it all seems so ineffable compared to voting in person, like your vote disappeared into the ether, despite the assurance that your ballot has been accepted, reviewed, approved, and will be tabulated tonight.
Maybe Ill feel better when I check in at the Board of Elections and see that my ballot has been counted, finally. Its not like sticking that paper into the scanner yourself and seeing the vote counter click up a notch.
I did the right thing, but I dont think Ill do it again if I have the choice.

(184 posts)Voted Biden Blue in Red Southern Missouri. Probably won't count towards the electoral college, but at least my vote will count in the Popular vote win for President Biden!

(6,582 posts)I was anxious to go as soon as they opened this morning but decided to wait for it to warm up a bit outside. My rural township only has about 400 people though, so I'll be shocked if there's any kind of waiting line.
