(268,998 posts)and I always watched folks who could cook. I use cook books the first time I try something new but after a few times I add my own stuff. Mum was an OK cook - great for entertaining but not the regular stuff. She was a fabulous baker - left us so many recipes in her own handwriting.

(34,136 posts)Not as good as Agatha Christie mysteries, and the production values are pretty low, but she usually has interesting twists to her stories so they are fun.
BritBox has the classic Doctor Who episodes that still exist - some of the older series are missing completely, some are only audio with either stills or animation. But for Doctor Who fans they are great. I started watching Doctor Who on Georgia Public TV in the 1970s and they showed the originals back then so they bring back a lot of memories.
Britbox has a LOT of great series, both mysteries and comedy. I like their Australian and New Zealand series as well as the British ones.
