General Discussion
Related: Editorials & Other Articles, Issue Forums, Alliance Forums, Region ForumsMost of the discussions earlier favored Biden. why is Trump so strong now?
Especially in states where republicans are in charge. FL, TX, OH, etc. In my area, red areas were slow and not crowded like Trump supporters were staying home. There were several reports like thus throughout the day. I saw a couple of reports that voting was light in red GA and South Carolina. That now doesn't seem to be material.
There was never reports that Trump gathered additional groups to his favor during the past few months. Where are these people voting for him coming from? There are no reports prior to tonight that this might legitimately happen. These are not real numbers in my opinion.
What are the exit polls showing....like the last election where the networks were amazed that Trump won because they knew the exit polling was showing something different.
Or am i being crazy here????

(25,512 posts)I think we overestimated the number of them that might be disillusioned with Trump and stay home.
They never stay home, with the possible exception of 2018, though I think we just overwhelmed them that cycle.

Never heard anything about I voted for Hillary in 2016 but Im voting for chump now.
So much more larger crowds against him than for on and on
I really hope the mail votes etc make the change
I had such high hopes for the White House debate and house of reps
Right now the only thing thats helping is
My states races are doing well.

(1,604 posts)1) Most of the cities have not yet been counted in many places (The Red Mirage)
2) Republican-controlled non-auditable voting machines
3) More than a million ballots missing in the mail thanks to DeJoy.
I am a statistician. I've followed most of the models and polling being done, and they have all been consistent not only with the results but with one another. Normally, when polling, random errors tend to increase with the volatility of a race, and tight consistent races are usually a very good sign. The fact that out of nowhere all of these Trumpsters show up that were not picked up in polls and surveys is HIGHLY suspicious to me.

Fingers and toes crossed that Biden crosses the line and wins it

I am very disappointed with NC. I am completely baffled. Our countrymen are stupid. I mean the other side.
