DeJoy did what he was hired to do: USPS failed to deliver 27% of mail-in ballots in S. Florida

November 4, 2020
By Matthew Chapman

According to data released on Wednesday, the United States Postal Service failed to deliver thousands of absentee ballots around the country before the cut-off times — and one of the worst failures occurred in South Florida, where 27 percent of mail-in votes may have never been received.

South Florida includes Miami-Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach Counties, the largest Democratic stronghold in the state. President Donald Trump is projected to carry Florida by more than 3 percent, due in large part to an apparent giant drop in Democrats’ margin in the area.

This data comes after U.S. District Judge Emmet Sullivan ordered USPS to inspect its facilities for lost mail-in ballots and deliver them on time. USPS refused to comply with the order, saying that it was not practical to do so. Sullivan is scheduled to hold a hearing later today about USPS non-compliance with his directive.

that were in the postal system a week before the election deadline (per Florida rules).

I suspect one of the problems we will run into is ballots that sat at a USPS facility several days or more before even getting postmarked. Fuckers! We need some whistleblowers to come forward from USPS in FL.

And these ballots need found, delivered and counted as these are people’s votes legitimately cast and they have an absolute right to have them counted. Also DeJoy needs criminally prosecuted for tampering with the United States mail 🤬🤬🤬🤬

he won't be prosecuted, and the votes won't be counted.

Just who has the power to make either of those things happen? Anyone who does is a part of the conspiracy.

We are broken.

Which includes finding DeJoy in criminal contempt and as he had already directed the USPS to scour facilities and find and deliver those votes he can order that it be done now and also issue an injunction against a final Florida vote certification until
that is compieted. Yes the qanon wackos will scream about conspiracies but why the hell should rational people be intimidated from enforcing the rule of law by these psychos??? Sorry we don’t live in their psychotic world!

Again. Just what officer is going to walk into decoy's office and put cuffs on him? What agency does that officer work for? What person is going to make trump's people to call off announcing his Florida victory and make them recount? It ultimately rests with the justice department. Do you see barr doing any of those things?

the twenty or so trump officials who have ignored federal orders.

You actually see a US Marshall walking into the west wing and arresting an acting secretary? That would be so cool. Let's see them frogmarch every trump official that has defied court orders.

You do know that the US Marshalls work for and the leadership is appointed by the president?

Besides, that is not an order of contempt works. Read this:

It is fun to demand action. It is not productive.

But DeJoy can be cited for contempt of court today, and Sullivan CAN rule that the early votes in Southern Florida are legitimate and must be counted. Cross your fingers.

Sullivan. What will he do? The common sense plan would be two-fold: cite DeJoy for contempt of court and toss him in jail, and rule that the USPS-delayed votes be counted as legitimate.

The next attorney general needs to set some examples so that political appointees in the future, of both parties, will realize that they cannot attempt to subvert democracy with impunity.

In other words, if you try this shit, you'd better fucking hope it works. Right now, it's looking like it may not have worked quite well enough. And if so, we need to pursue justice.
