Flagstaff if you can afford it and like snow.

(29,238 posts)if you can afford it, try to live above the desert floor in the Santa Catalina foothills... Sabino Canyon was where I stayed... but anywhere in the foothills is nice. Don't live too close to a dry wash... it won't stay dry all the time.
beware of valley fever if you haven't lived there before... and try to adapt to living with the desert rather than trying to import plants and yards from non desert places.
And, as blue as Tucson is... there are still a lot of trumpazee assholes around.

Arcadia and Old Towne Scottsdale areas, pricier.
Downtown Phoenix up and coming with the infusion of the ASU downtown campus and downtown just opened a beautiful big grocery store👍🏻 Baseball stadium and basketball arena are downtown
