MSNBC just talked about how Trump is narrowing the margin. What's going on? Is that state going to melt away like Texas and Florida did?

(4,446 posts)I was feeling good about Arizona.
I remember the race between Simena and McSally.
McSally was declared the winner...about a week or so later, Simena pulled ahead..
Glad Simena won, but I don't think I can bear this for another week...What about Kelly?? Ugh...

(12,631 posts)of the residents of the state. It cant possibly be homogeneous, especially since it had only become purple lately. That means parts are red and parts are bluish.
It was a mistake to say Maricopa went blue this time, therefore most votes from Maricopa will be Biden votes. Some precincts ( a political division we no long hear about or pay much attention to) will still be very red. The NYT apparently had enough info to know which precincts were still outstanding, or the common sense to realize they just didnt know and held off declaring.
It may still turn out alright, or it may not. We dont have enough info to know. That degree of granularity is not shown on TV, or even in what passes for a local newspaper in this era. Unless we go downtown to party headquarters - and were not hearing from them- we must rely on our news media.
