So - let's say that our man Joe gets AZ, NV, PA and GA

works out to 306 EVs.

After what was (and in a way continues to be) an incredibly harrowing roller coaster ride, the 2 main misses will end up being Florida and North Carolina - those two would have led to the 350 that many pollsters and aggregators predicted. I am just so disappointed in the state in which I now reside. And Florida is....well, Florida!

It was - and is - a very 2020 flavored version of 2018, in a way, after getting way to close to a 2016 experience to all of our liking, I suspect.

After 4 hours of sleep last night, today was surreal.

But the (near certain??) reality of being done with Trump (and Pence) is such an incredible relief that it is hard to put into words.

Can't say enough about what it meant to have DU up and running with lightning speed last night - and to have all of you DUers to banter with, sweat with, share the roller coaster,.....and annoy (I am sure some of you!)

I can only imagine what the time between now and next Jan 20 (guess what I will get for my 65th birthday? Joe and Kamala!) will be like.

It meant so much to me to be able to check in here on a regular basis. I couldn't bring myself to turn on the TV and watch the talking heads.

Here's to us, and to our new POTUS and VP!!!

Leslie McCrae Dowless Was doing in Bladen county.

We all expected that the enthusiasm of blue voters was going to make the difference.e yet turnout in most red counties was as high or higher than in blue counties.

Does that make sense to you? I know there are plenty of fanatics but I would think some of trumps supporters were growing weary of him — for corona, for the lies, for various reasons.

Repubs tend to accuse others of what they themselves are doing.

These polls being so wrong in two successive presidential elections is improbable, especially since pollsters corrected for undercounting rural whites and non-college educated whites this time.

His behavior gave Republicans and Independents an excuse to go running back to their party, and while they were marking their ballots for Tillis they decided what the hell, vote for Trump too.

I'm beyond furious at Cunningham. He shouldn't have run.
