We will be in deep doo-doo because of the raging pandemic and Biden will not want to stage a super spreader event like Trump has done. He could have an event in the White House for an appropriate sized gathering.

It should be interesting to see how this plays out since briefings are held prior and the families meet in the residence before leaving for the Capitol. I want to say there was one inauguration where the president refused to speak to the president-elect in the car...in the early 1900s-1910s, IIRC, so there is precedent for presidents acting like jerks.

I suspect Pence will be the lead player here. Trump will continue to look like the small, petulant child that he is.
