As much as I respect Sanders and Warren, they are too polarizing.

Thoroughly decent, upstanding, rock-solid Joe Biden is who we needed in 2020.

I think we have Sanders to thank for this. He put it out there. Yes Democrats had talked about it for years, but Sanders gave it a great deal of publicity. We have always won in the middle in regards to the presidency. But the progressive ideas are popular and will gain even more traction in the years to come. Look at the ACA, the idea that health care is a right came out of that legislation. And the GOP will not be able to kill it regardless of the courts because it is now a voting issue.

With a lot of GREAT candidates, but it seems to me that Joe is uniquely suited for our current damaged situation. He's a calm, empathetic veteran who can take the edge off of people and some divisions.

Trump desperately wanted to face either of them, hence the Ukraine scheme to knock Biden out of the primary.

how fortunate we are with Biden. There is precisely zero chance any other other candidate could win. We needed some gop voters to switch and they were only willing to vote for biden. Look at these razor thin margins. Remember, Biden has the most votes in the history of this country, BUT Trump has the second most votes, more than Obama in 2008.

I believe pretty much all of them could have beaten this fuck.

I really don’t see what sort of advantage Biden had that the others didn’t. He wasn’t the most charismatic or the most interesting. He’s a decent guy, but virtually all the others were good people too. And some of them had more substance to their campaigns than Biden ever did with his.

What drove the vote out was the hatred people have for the putrid asshole in the White House. It wasn’t really Biden himself.

Biden definitely had a much better chance of winning. I still believe liberal policies are the most effective although not popular enough at this time to win. It's good Biden got the nomination as this was not the landslide victory I expected. Republicans are horrible people for supporting that racist toddler.
