(54,770 posts)In House, trump or Biden would need to win 26 state delegations -- not individual Congress person votes -- to win the presidency.
Democrats might hold in the House, but not when broken down by state delegation.
Unless states have really messed up, it's not going to end in a tie.

(183,002 posts)I think even though we have two Dem Senators and a Dem Governor 4 of the last 5. Oh and Dems have won the last 4 POTUS elections here.
I just checked and Virginia is 7-4 Dem in the house.

(18,883 posts)But realised It is a improbable though not completely impossible situation, yes it would go to the House of Representatives. As others have indicated each state gets one vote and 26 are needed to win and they would re vote over and over until the election is decided however long that may take.
