The rural/urban divide in perceptions from the movies/books...

Rural folks look at Dems running things and they see The Hunger Games.

Urban folk look at Repubs running things and they see either Robocop or Handmaid's Tale.

Simple, isn't it?

but it may be because of the difference in urban and rural educational opportunities. Rural kids have the same potential, but not the same opportunity. Rural kids have a more narrow view of the world. Our biggest national problem is that ignorance is held to be a virtue in some circles.

Rural is still on the Rush Limbaugh AM radio bands, urban is listening to hip hop/rock FM radio.
