Who else teared up when Kamala's name finally showed up in that banner of lights in the sky?

I was freaking out, thinking that they forgot to put her name up there after they did it for Joe. Then, FINALLY, when they lit her name up there, it was like holy shit, maybe they did it like that on purpose just to give her the emphasis she deserves, and then some. That was just an amazing moment seeing their names lit up like that in exactly the manner they did it. Wow, talk about being blown away!

Then again they probably didn't have a 71 year old man (me) in charge of that portion of the show. Does anyone know how to change the time on the VCR?

I was already in tears, so how does one assess more tearing up?

I’ve spent the day either on the verge of tears or in tears!

my eyes were too filled with tears to see anything past her opening speech. Then Joe spoke and the old water works really opened up. I'll watch it again tomorrow, when I can see again. There must be something wrong with my eyes today.

It has been too long in the US. Other countries with parliamentary systems have had people other than males for decades but not us.

Hillary Clinton should have been President. Geraldine Ferraro could have been VP....but no such "luck" for both.

But now VP Harris it is!!!!!!!

That makes me happy.
