What happened to Trump was karmic. He did much evil, so something came about that he could not con his way out of or ignore. That thing came to deliver a form of justice to him, which it is doing as I write.

But I don’t see that power as desiring supplication as Christians and other religions do.

I believe our fate in life lay in a maze, with us making choices at every important and unimportant juncture. We can not work our way to an outcome that is not part of our fate and actions like prayer won’t change our ultimate fate.

I view my journey through life as a constant process of observing and analyzing what I observed, because that is what the higher power designed for me to do. I will never understand everything, in fact what I will understand over the course of my life has no practical existence if measured against all there is to understand - but even with that, I would have used the gift of reason that was embedded into me.

I can co-exist easily in this world with men and women whose religion informs their values as it does for Joe Biden. I do not call myself an atheist, what I do believe is harder to define. But in this instance, it is the secular meaning of the phrase: THANK GOD! that I intensely relate to,

respect the ones like Joe Biden that are true to their faith and it’s key aspects about the conditions of how they deal with other people.
