We need a new word when playing cards

The word "trump" needs to be removed from our language, reserved (in the near future) only for referencing that family in prison. A trump is a playing card which is elevated above its usual rank in trick-taking games, and the word sullies the otherwise long and fine history of card playing. Perhaps there already is another word?

6. the word "trump" in my household....

is used to refer to the dirty business done in the toilet. "Dump a trump" is the new euphemism for off-loading a turd into the toilet, which is now the "trump dump". And the rolled paper beside the toilet is, of course, "trump paper."

I do agree with your point. (Although I've never played it, and know virtually nothing about it,) I've come to like the game of bridge, where you can bid a "No-Trump"! How could anybody NOT like a game like that?

8. I've already discussed this with my wife...

...our pinochle playing friends will now hear me state “fuckin’ trump” every time the term is warranted. This will surely piss of a few of them but, Fuck It!
