Yesterday's Victory Celebration Was a Magnificent Rally

Joe Biden was mostly low-key during the campaign, because of COVID-19. He didn't have splashy rallies or large gatherings throughout the campaign period. That made last night's extravaganza all the more spectacular.

I mean, he had computer-controlled drones spelling out words and images, plus one of the most glorious fireworks displays I've ever seen at a political event. Then, there was that wonderful introduction by our VP-elect, followed by Biden's best speech of the campaign.

If Trump watched it, he had to have said, "How come my people couldn't put on a show like that. Sleepy Joe's ratings will be through the roof. Someone's gonna get fired around here, dammit!"

There wasn't a big dumb orange buffoon sullying the spotlight, inexplicably convulsing to the Village People's YMCA and spewing filth and disease out of every orifice.

Instead, we were treated to a serious, yet festive and celebratory event where it was announced that America is now free from the smelly, sticky, snot-encrusted grip of a small, egomaniacal, self-imagined strongman. And the historic achievement of our first woman elected as Vice President was epic! Highly Satisfying...
