I'm afraid Joe will discover that these RETHUGLICON senators of today are

NOT the same senators he was able to work with! It's the new RUMP world in America, that he has to deal with! To me it's almost the same problem Abraham Lincoln had when he was first elected. The USA. was in big time trouble and Lincoln knew this. Joe and Kamala will for sure have a huge battle to face, BUT I really believe THIS team will succeed!!

i hope it translates into being willing to play hardball back, because that's the only game republicans know how to play.

to give them an opportunity to redeem themselves. It will be their decisions to make, and they will own it for the rest of their lives.

They won't call to congratulate him until they are forced to, for the sake of saving their own neck. Even if then... In that case, THEY didn't decide. Saying "sorry" when the gun is pointed at your head, doesn't come off as "sincere".

I'm all for President Biden being nice and conciliatory, as he implements a "scorched earth" policy when calling for investigations and punishments for every single entity who was complicit or enabling IN ANY WAY.

Off with their heads! I say. I already got my big boy pants on and will happily volunteer to release the blade. SERIOUSLY!

This country is worth it, and if watering the tree of liberty is required, so be it. They are COUNTING on us to not have the guts to address it. (Ok, I would RELUCTANTLY accept life in prison... if I absolutely have to... )

Doing nothing, however, is not an option.

that Joe's reconciliatory public rhetoric is backed up with a plan to deal with Senate intransigence.

I trust that Kamala Harris will pat him on the back, console him and convince him it's a lost fight.

Joe, today, you need to understand that in their eyes, you're a minority, and will be treated as such.
