They've guarded Biden for many years. And Obama. And Hillary.

Why would it bother me? They've done a fantastic job and are real professionals.

Plus with Biden, they are treated with respect.

With trump's spawn, they have to on a daily basis, "I'm not your servant, we don't fetch."

Secret Service agents are consummate professionals will do their job well. I'm also pretty sure that Biden treats them 1000X better than Trump.

At Noon on January 20, they will know that Biden is now President. They will also know that they have a duty to protect Trump. Trump will be well-guarded and removed from the White House, if he hasn’t already vacated the premises, and President Biden will be allowed to enter the premises at his leisure.

You need not worry about the Secret Service.

integrity and procedure of too many agents then scared the hell out of me. Especially during the height of the RW media's "trolling for assassins" campaign. It wasn't just the presidential detail. Morale was low throughout the SS and the WH police details for various reasons, and there were a number of SS scandals. Obama survived, though.

There can't be many agents who feel personal loyalty to Trump in the face of his contemptuous treatment of them and The Real Donald Trump they've witnessed up close and personal, but I haven't heard a fraction of the scary events that occurred while assigned to protect President Obama.

So I hope and like to believe the SS's famous professionalism was restored after that extremely bad period. We really need it to have been. Even though Biden is the protypical white male leader, conservative "patriotism" these days defines Democrats as a grave threat to our nation.

But in any case you're of course correct in how they will proceed.

Likely the agents who were with Biden will stay with Biden. Trump retains secret Service people. But these agents are really focused on their very difficult and stressful jobs.

The Secret Service
The US Marshall’s
The FBI agents
The military

Are NOT “pro Trump”

If you think they are, then jump off the metaphorical ledge you want to be talked down from because the situation is hopeless under those conditions.

The Conspiracy theory concerns here are getting exhausted.

I do not worry about this at all, they are very disciplined.

I can tell you though that they have their favorites. And believe it or not, their favorite person to guard was Dick Cheney. Cheney would have coffee with his guards every morning and shoot the shit with them. He knew all of them by name and took the time to get to know them. He said it was nice, but that didn't mean Cheney got any special treatment, they treat everyone the same.
