I can't wait to read the behind-the-scenes books about his campaign and, specifically, this period we are experiencing right now.

It's going to be SO nice to have a competent, sane President who doesn't spend hours and hours each and every day watching "news" all day so he can know who to hate next.

And it's been a real treat not hearing his voice for the last several days.

I'm done with this high maintenance president. I'm looking forward to having a mature, competent, adult sitting in the oval office.
I'm tired of hearing about the latest part of the government that Trump broke. I'm tired of the drama, the whining, the manipulation, the just plain dumbfuckery that's been the hallmark of the Trump presidency.

I really want to see capable, competent, people running agencies; people who actually know what they're doing, and can be relied on to follow the rule of law.
January 20th can't come soon enough.

"Hillary should win this easily, but if all of your media continue to show Trump 24/7 like they are doing now, Trump will win, no matter how bad that is for your country and the rest of the world."

That was my wife, and I told her at the time, she underestimated the average intelligence of the American voter.

After the election, she simply told me, "no, I didn't."

I now have a new and unwelcome understanding of how moronic people can be. I used to give them credit and assumed that they could, oh I don't know, absorb information and process it and adjust their behavior or beliefs as a result. Nope.

They would rather be told what to think, to say, to do.
The same thing happened in Germany in the 1930's, and we saw how that worked out.
Even though Biden won the election, Many Americans will always believe the Democrats stole the election.
Even though the real fraud was the conspiracy of Trump, DeJoy, and others to wreck the postal service and prevent millions of Americans who voted by mail from having their votes count. That's why Trump wanted Republicans to vote in person.
The fix was in a couple months before the election.
It's a tribute to the Postal Workers who delivered so many of those ballots, and the determination of Americans who came out in person, enduring long lines and covid-19 danger to vote for Biden/Harris, that we were able to prevail and keep The United States from falling into the same horrific nightmare that befell Germany.

At least we are OK for now, but, as we all know, the price of freedom is eternal vigilance.

17. Trump's taunts about Biden
Thu Nov 12, 2020, 01:24 PM
Nov 2020

He was sending taunting tweets and had the Republicans posting taunts that Biden was an old man cowering in his basement while he was going around throwing superspreader rallies and parties at the white house. Dude, he was WORKING FROM HOME - the same thing millions of Americans have been doing. Trying to follow the rules. We were supposed to feel contempt for Biden as week, but Trump was the weak one trying to project being strong. We all know he's weak, weak, weak.

he got things done. He had the speech on Saturday and announced he would form the task force on Monday. I figured that was cool, take a well deserved day off on Sunday. He showed up first thing Monday with the names already. It wasn't some "stupendous tremendous task force the likes of which you've never seen, in about two weeks from now", just competent professionals, announced on time.

It will be nice to have the Presidential Daily Brief read in its entirety every single day, the real one not the kindergarten picture book we have now.
