Its complicated. Basically if she takes a Biden administration position, Lt. Gov. Peggy Flanagan would be appointed to her Senate Seat.

the appointee serves until the next statewide general election is held; the winner in that election serves out the remainder of the term.
Klobuchar's term runs through 2024, but the seat would be up for grabs, at risk, in 2022.

We need all hands on deck in the Senate. There are more than enough qualified people NOT currently in elected office to fill his cabinet. I find it very hard to believe that PE Biden would jeopardize a Democratic Senate seat.
