(7,947 posts)Back in 1968, when I was a teen and aspired to be a groupie, I got this plastic dish-scrubber that was like a little plastic-wire pillow, and I put it on my head and combed my hair over it to give it that "bouffant" look. I thought I looked like Marianne Faithfull, but alas, I looked more like this sad lady of the lowlands. But you know, that was 1968, and I was 15.

(28,349 posts)I gave up on it. Some girls could do a good job ratting, along with 46 cans of Aqua Net, lol! Your idea on the kitchen scrubber was a good idea.
I tried my best, but my thick curly, and many times, frizzy hair, was not suited for the styles of the 60s. I wanted long, straight, stringy hair with bangs like Paul McCarney's girlfriend Jane Asher. Instead I was more like Janis Joplin.

What part of Michigan did this atrocity happen?
We must get to the bottom of this. How many vans does it take to carry some sandwiches, chips, water, Coke, and cookies?

(82,849 posts)I'm pretty sure there's a clause in the Constitution somewhere about vans and food and proportions of elections workers. Cut and dried, it is. I wonder if there will be a cage match between Justice Barrettry and Justice Boof over who gets to write the opinion?
