What bugs you the most?

Soon the Mango Mussolini will be out of the White House and the news cycles. I'm lookin forward to that, as are we all. I want to get back to the days when the most irritating things are trivial. For me, that includes:
* "Cars for Kids" radio jingle
* my county's obsession with traffic circles

What simple irritants are you looking forward to once again?

Or at least two of my neighbors think so and have hung lights.

SiriusXM has a dozen holiday music channels already fired up and the Hallmark App and Channel are about to explode with holiday movies.

I saw it the other day and almost threw something.
I mean, it was cute at first, yeah. But something about the sound of the bells really bothers me, it's grating in a way that there's probably a word for. When the repetition alone is irritating.

And unfortunately it hasn't gone away; its only virtue is that it's less infuriating than Trump. As long as the pandemic continues I will not have to look at baristas with man-buns in coffee shops, but I am looking forward to being annoyed by them, too.

If I hear more than b=about 6 notes of that auditory monstrosity it gets stuck in my head for hours.

Hell, even talking about it will probably activate the damn ear worm.

But I love traffic circles and roundabouts! This isn’t an irritant...but I look forward to not having the news on in the evenings...I’ll either listen to music or silence. I’m beginning to do that very thing now.

So much better than busy intersections that only allow one or two cars to turn left per each light change.

Buzzards Bay for one, and Sagamore Bridge for another. I am sure there are others, but first two that come to mind..summer on the cape will do that to you..

Anyway, here, in AZ they have these awful "round-abouts"..yield, what's that?? Narrow, and intimidating for so many..they just don't know how to maneuver..when I approach I am so careful, often find myself watching in anticipation ..like mom used to say..he who hesitates is bumped from the rear..

Now, the stacks, ramps, in Calif..that is where I get out...

Every time I see it I think of my grandmother's movie magazines. Joe was in his heydey then and routinely wore a giant fur coat and was known as "Broadway Joe." Now he looks like Great Aunt Joe.

But do you honestly think he'll be out of the news cycles? His New York trials; daily Tweeting about how he was robbed and how everything Biden is doing is wrong. His eventual permanent ban from Twitter. His attempts to get back some sort of power by showing up at the Senate to tell them what to do. Melania divorcing him and the related lawsuits when he tries to weasel out of paying her whatever he promised if she would stick around while he was running for/was president. His continuing to have rallies where he can brag about/pity himself because that's what he enjoyed most (aside from all the free golf) about the presidency. His writing a book. Melania writing a book. Don Jr. writing a book. His announcement that he's re-running in 2024 or if he doesn't want to, Ivanka's running in 2024. Eric putting out a coloring book. His throwing a tantrum if the GOP decides to hold primaries instead of just giving the candidacy to him (or Ivanka). Etc.

As for irritants, while I do enjoy the two stations in Kansas City that switch over to Christmas music each year, they're not without their downsides. I look forward to being irritated by:
1. Their uncanny ability to choose the same song to play over and over again. Last year it was the various renditions of, "Santa Baby."
2. Reinforcing the belief that Pentatonix is correct that Leonard Cohen's, "Hallelujah," is a Christmas song
3. The pain I get from stabbing buttons to change to the other station when, "Baby, It's Cold Outside," is played by one of them.
4. Likewise when anything by Michael Buble is played.
