Should we really be concerned of a MAGA rally for inauguration?
I know we are going and I know of several others that will be trekking to DC come hell or high water in January for the inauguration. We'll have our N-95's on along with our face shields and goggles. Should I bring my Biden flag or my AZ flag? We are super excited to go and represent.

1. IMHO there won't be the usual parade and stuff: No public ceremony. I don't think he wants or
needs it. Personally, I'd expect that we'd be so deep in covid at that point, better to just hold off until the vaccine distribution is a reality.

7. Agree. Biden will set a responsible tone.
Doesn't make anything less legitimate.
We're not going to have a big to-do with tens of thousands on the mall. We'll have to forego the Trump vs. Biden Mall comparison photos. That's okay. I'll still take it. |

2. I wouldn't be surprised if trump hosts a competing event
to announce a 2024 run

3. There likely won't be a public/outdoor inauguration, just in private. Nt

9. Well, it seems dangerous and hypocritical to hold a large public event
I would be shocked beyond belief if they move forward with a traditional public gathering- the risks are tremendous, to both the public and the incoming administration.
I wonder if this construction was ordered by Trump, since the GSA has not released funds for Biden to access? Any info from the Biden inaugural committee? |

10. I saw that! I'm sure it won't be the same as year's past but there will be something.
I think a socially distanced parade with masks will be acceptable.

6. I agree
Theres no way Joe would want or endorse a large typical inauguration gathering during the height of a pandemic. Even with masks and eye shields, just the thought of that many people would be very bad. Not just at the ceremony itself, but the hotels, restaurants, transportation, etc, etc, etc. Make it small, private and nationally televised

8. It should be the same as the convention. Virtual, live, streaming... speakers and events.

12. Didn't Roberts bungle the oath at the outdoor ceremony?
I seem to recall that they did a do-over inside, just to be sure it was all legal and proper.
