White House press secretary said more than 1 million attended a demonstration in support of Trump

but it was more likely thousands

Kayleigh McEnany, the White House press secretary, exaggerated the number of people who gathered in Washington, DC, on Saturday to protest President Donald Trump's loss to President-elect Joe Biden.

"More than one MILLION marchers for President @realDonaldTrump descend on the swamp in support," she wrote Saturday morning.

It's unclear what the exact figure was, but it's more likely that thousands or tens of thousands of people showed up, according to news outlets that reported from the scene, including The Washington Post and USA Today. Either way, the true figure appeared substantially smaller than what McEnany claimed.

Demonstrators attended to in support of Trump's baseless allegations that President-elect Joe Biden's victory is illegitimate.

"I haven't spoken to the president about that," McEnany said, appearing on Fox and Friends.

She added: "That would be a question more for the White House.”

To have to lie daily for THE moron or any reason.

My dad was head actuary in D.C. for years and got me into insurance sales on an old timey debit route. Great pay for a youngster, but some of the shit I was told to do ate at my insides.

I was told to be quiet and keep these poor people in policies that were worthless. It was cheap premium life insurance that they had payed monthly for 40 plus years. Completely backward on the benefit! They would also have numerous fire policies in one house.

I fucking quit!

I don't know how people do those kind of jobs and stay sane.
