From a nurse in South Dakota:

I have a night off from the hospital. As I’m on my couch with my dog I can’t help but think of the Covid patients the last few days. The ones that stick out are those who still don’t believe the virus is real. The ones who scream at you for a magic medicine and that Joe Biden is

Going to ruin the USA. All while gasping for breath on 100% Vapotherm. They tell you there must be another reason they are sick. They call you names and ask why you have to wear all that “stuff” because they don’t have COViD because it’s not real. Yes. This really happens. And

I can’t stop thinking about it. These people really think this isn’t going to happen to them. And then they stop yelling at you when they get intubated. It’s like a fucking horror movie that never ends. There’s no credits that roll. You just go back and do it all over again.

Which is what I will do for the next three nights. But tonight. It’s me and Cliff and Oreo ice cream. And how ironic I have on my “home”
Hoodie. The South Dakota I love seems far away right now.

Recently I read about side effects from commonly prescribed medications. Some had pretty significant neuro effects. And many people take multiple meds, not just one, so no one knows the effects they can have combined.

When people believe something so extreme that it endangers their own survival, an instinct that is so basic to every living thing ... I'm really wondering if there's more to it.

I don't know how much more they can take. People don't understand how brutal their work has become. Imagine how hard it is just to run to the restroom ... and then there are the 8 zillion other sacrifices they are making along with their own lives at stake.

In the beginning the messaging was that we need to stay home, mask up and keep the hospitals from filling up. Now no one gives a shit if the medical workers break.

America should be ashamed of itself.

13. The Only Reason Their Cult Leader Survived COVID Is That He Had Access
Sun Nov 15, 2020, 01:57 AM
Nov 2020

To the finest medical treatment available - all on the taxpayer dime, at no cost to himself. But the rest of us 99%ers don't have that access to cutting edge medical care, simply because we can't afford it. Then Trump goes out on his superspreader rallies with his message of "Don't be afraid of COVID" which most of his numbskull audience misinterprets as "COVID isn't real, or doesn't exist". Playing fast and loose with the truth is just about as bad as outright lying. At least Hitler was going to war against foreign enemies; Trump is going to war against his own people. sacrificing them on the altar of his own re-election. Well, that whole campaign failed, and I hope to dear God that people who have been brainwashed into the Trump cult finally start waking up to the truth.

After he’s gone we’re going to hear a lot more crappy shit he’s done while in office.

They are beyond deplorable. Not only do they have covid, but just think of all of the others they have infected simply because of their intransigence.

I'm a nurse in San Francisco, and yes, we have Covid here, but people UNDERSTAND for the most part that we must take precautions, and yes, they DO believe there is a pandemic going on.

I place the ultimate blame on media outlets like Fox News for fomenting this kind of view. Of course, Pussy-Grabber also shoulders a chunk of the blame. But I fail to understand why these people didn't figure it out when the disaster was slamming NYC. Did they think the horrible footage on television was faked?

Quite frankly, I am underwhelmed by the sufferig gping on in South Daota. I feel bad for the people who truly understood, but given their goddamned governor and the failure on the part of the majority to do anything about it, I prefer to expend my sympathy elsewhere. You cannot cure stupid, and it is unforgivable that they are endangering others.
