BREAKING: The Wayne County Board of Canvassers just deadlocked 2-2 on certifying the vote.

This is the unfortunate result of relentless and anti-democratic attempts to undermine the election, especially in an area home to large numbers of Black voters.

When county canvassers fail to certify results, the process (incl. all records and other info. pertaining to the election) moves to the board of state canvassers who have 10 days to certify.

The costs for this borne by Wayne Cty MI taxpayers.

It goes now to the state canvassing board on Nov. 23 to adjudicate this failure to certify. The state canvassing board is also likely to deadlock 2-2 and this time with regard to certifying the whole state. One of the KGOP members of the state canvassing board’s wife is a party to one of the Trump lawsuits recently dismissed in Michigan. So, we are depending on the 2nd KGOPer to do the right thing. Never trust a KGOPer on ANYTHING.
The Secretary of State, while a Democratic official, does not have the final authority here unfortunately.

So, we need to have Governor Whitmer fire the out-of-control canvassing board members but what if they take their firing and contest it at the 4-3 MI conservative activist Supreme Court who already ruled Governor Whitmer had no COVID-19 emergency authority in a blatantly partisan 4-3 October ruling? I only bring that ruling up to show that the they proved they hate Gov. Whitmer already.

So, we’re left counting on these partisan Nazis in robes to do the right thing?? Glad Joe is still at 290 even with this bullshit and the GOP GA Sec of State is holding the line against the coup attempt for now. Even if he is coerced, we still have 274, I should add, but the fact they did this today in MI means the coup attempt is not totally dead yet.

Gov. Whitmer has total autonomy over Board of Canvassers at the state level. I would guess a failure to certify a legitimate election would count as neglect of duty or corruption. Nobody is losing a cushy post over Trump.
