NJ Rep Pascrell calls for full investigation of the Anus

“Donald Trump and members of his administration have committed innumerable crimes against the United States,” said Rep. Pascrell. “He has endangered our national security. He ripped families apart. He poisoned the Census. He has personally profited from his office. He has attacked our elections and sought to throttle democracy. He was rightly impeached by the House of Representatives. He has engaged in treachery, in treason. He has all but given up on governing and protecting our nation and if he had a shred of dignity he would resign today.

“Therefore, in 2021 the entire Trump administration must be fully investigated by the Department of Justice and any other relevant offices. Donald Trump along with his worst enablers must be tried for their crimes against our nation and Constitution. Importantly, any further abuse of the sacred pardon power to shield criminals would itself be obstruction of justice, and any self-pardons would be illegal.

“Failure to hold financial and political wrongdoing accountable in the past has invited greater malfeasance by bad actors. A repeat of those failures in 2021 further emboldens criminality by our national leaders and continues America down the path of lawlessness and authoritarianism. There must be accountability."

YES!

I know Joe doesn't want to at this point, but Joe's wrong on this. I hope he reconsiders, for America.

As the incoming President during a time of pandemic among other things, he is absolutely correct in this.

BUT he has also said his Justice Department will be free to conduct whatever investigations of Trump's behavior it sees fit. Without interference.

Your comment that "Joe doesn't want to and is wrong about this" and your inference that he needs to change his stance "for America" is bullshit. It is absolutely not factual, and you should delete it.

The stance Joe has taken is the right one for America.

We move forward with our agenda and as long as McConnell doesn't obstruct Joe keeps the attack dogs in the kennel. Otherwise, we go on full expose mode, including the role key Senators played in their enablement.

Because let's face it, even at 50/50, McConnell can be very disruptive.

If it is found to have been criminal activity all should be punished within the laws of the United States.

There can be no "look the other way" for some people and then demand obedience under the laws for other people.

Joe Biden has an duty and obligation to pursue any criminal wrongdoing by Donald Trump to uphold the virtue of the office of the President of these United States.

Investigated, analyzed, then laws must be put into place so a person can never repeat what he has done.
Trump should be charged and prosecuted in public trials. If and when the cover gets blown off this administration even the most jaded among us will be shocked to our core. The facts must be laid out in a very transparent way...worldwide.
The enablers to the crimes must be dealt with the same way, unrelentingly till the dirt is cleaned away.
I really don’t care if he and his cronies go to jail. What I would propose is an old punishment that would seem apropos in this circumstance.

Exile. Strip him and his gang of all communication devices. Fix up an old freighter with comfortable but spartan accommodations set them sailing to an undisclosed spot in the Atlantic, anchor the ship and let them be.

... crime in our nation's history. No way to walk away from our duties to expose what happened
We have >1/4 of million Americans dead because of that asshole and and his helpers we can't
get to the other side of being about rainbows and dancing puppy dogs until what happened is exposed.
Pence was picked by Putin via Manafort and McCarthy, Sessions, Ryan, and McConnell all knew about the
Russian rat fucking of our democracy, and the tens of millions of dollars of dirty Russian money was
given to Republicans through the NRA. Not to mention that when Trump and Kushner were told of
the coming pandemic in the fall of 2019 they not only did the do nothing but they invested in HCQ -
(hydroxylchoroquine) and then their own C-19 test kits and then in Feb. of 2020 they shipped 18 tons
of PPE to China because Trump owed them money. Trump and company sold out America and were
active agentsfor a hostile foreign country, Russia too.

This is not to mention the grifting of millions of American $s by Trump and his family, the killing
and cover up of Khashoggi, ripping apart families and putting children in cages, the effort to shut
down the USPS so Trump could stay in power, the pulling out of the Paris Climate accords, getting
over 100 US Service men and women with traumatic brain injury from Iranian missiles after Trump
had an Iranian (very well might be a bad person) murdered after luring him to Iraq on promises of
a peace deal, getting rid of the Iranian/multi nation nuclear deal, and fomenting attacks by racist
neo nazis on Americans. I forgot the Bill Barr/DoJ cover up of Trump's crimes too.

that Joe doesn’t want Trump investigated. The essence of his position appears to be that he is going to stay out of it and let the DOJ do their job. And that’s a good position. It avoids the appearance of targeting people for political reasons.

To put in place things so history could not repeat itself.

The job needs to be finished.

We are lucky Trump is incompetent. A more competent individual could be even more dangerous.

It's going to be hard to nail the door shut without the Senate.

Trump has exposed cracks.

They cannot waver this time. They have to finish the job to protect the democracy.

THAT would end democracy in America. We need to institute laws and regulations, or amend the constitution to make sure this NEVER happens again.

Smedley Butler saved us the first time against the fascist attempt (by Bush elders, for one) to remove FDR. This was the second attempt.

We HAVE TO INSURE that the third time is NOT the charm. This must never be allowed to happen. Ever again. Anywhere in the world.
