We will be hitting the road once again on the Blackest Bus in America to help register and get out the vote all over Georgia for the upcoming Senate run-off election. Over the next several weeks, BVM will be extending its We Got The Power campaign to make sure Black voters in Georgia are supported and engaged. We need every Georgian to help us flip the Senate. You can register to vote until December 7. Make sure youre registered to vote and vote early. This election is not over.

(32,701 posts)By October I had started ignoring most messages from the various PACs, but a volunteer from BVM texted me and asked if they could count on me to remind 3 friends to vote.
I had already turned out several people but I responded "yes."
Then he asked me to think it through and tell him the names.
I had to think about it a little but I gave him 3 names. He thanked me and told me I was doing a great job. Lol.
Then on November 1, he texted again and asked if I had gotten X, Y, and Z to vote. I didn't respond. By then, I had given up on Z, but the text caused me to reach out again, more aggressively. I thought it was a lost cause but she voted on Election Day. Mission accomplished. 🇺🇸
