Mask up campaign by my employer is bullsh*t!

I work for a local hospital and in staff email today was an article about them joining other hospitals in a Mask Up Campaign. Sounds great right? Unfortunately I know a handful of staff who have been reprimanded after a complaint for asking a patientor family member to wear their mask properly. Their heroes work here campaign has been all PR we are expendable. We lost a family member yesterday to covid and came to work to another co-worker saying he had been reprimanded. I was once so proud to work here but today I’m just angry and hurt. Thanks for a safe place to vent. Take care of yourselves and Mask Up.

I believe the idea is to steer public behavior with the correct messaging from innocuous sources like the MSM and signage. This (hopefully) alleviates the need for any one-on-one confrontations which can lead to resentment and even violence.
