Rudy's Three Words

For some perspective on one-time rival Giuliani's unholy obsession with blocking Biden's win:

"Rudy Giuliani is probably the most underqualified man since George Bush to seek the presidency. . . . There's only three things he mentions in a sentence: a noun and a verb and 9/11."

2. Wow. After all these years I didn't realize that was Joe's line. Was that back in the '08 campaign?

and it went south when he made a gaffe observation of fellow primary candidate Barack Obama:

"I mean, you got the first mainstream African-American who is articulate and bright and clean and a nice-looking guy. I mean, that's a storybook."

That was in January 2007, and it was universally criticized, but Biden apologized and explained that he'd simply meant that senator Obama was a remarkably fresh and exciting candidate. It didn't save his campaign, but it did have some effect, because in August Barack appointed him VP, and here we are!

Like tRump's obsession with erasing President Obama's legacy, Rudy may have a similar stick up his ass about President Elect Biden.

The one at the presser. He blew his nose, folded his tissue, wiped his mouth, face and eyes. This was after I saw that his son tested positive for COVID. They appeared together at one of those events. All that flop sweat, Rudy must have it as well.

C'est la vie.

Watching Rudy melt down is one of the unexpected dividends of winning I guess, but I have to say, that's really gross!
