starve babies were never good people anyway. There are some who are historically Republican but if they stay...they become evil just like the rest.

I think that it starts when people start to make money their number one priority. When money becomes the number one priority for them, many of those people throw morality into the gutter. The more money they can make and the more they can save in taxes at someone else's expense, the more conservative they become.
Anyway, I don't know the actual answer, but I think it's a great question that you posed.
