I've been busy that last few days filling out forms and dealing with a house guest that is a friend of my brother. The guy pretty much forced an invitation to stay here after he got fired from his job and he burned his bridges with the homeless shelter when he got the job back in September. My brother told the guy that he could stay through Thanksgiving, but we don't want him here three weekends in a row. We are in a two bedroom apartment and my brother stores a lot of the medical equipment that he delivers in the living room. The dining room serves as the office and it's where the cat litter box is.
After three nights, I think that crosses the line of guest into being a pest so we are making him work so he doesn't get too comfortable. He is going to get some of the chores that I can no longer do since I can't make it up and down the stairs carrying trash or the litter box. The guy will also be driving me around to shop and take care of other errands since my brother doesn't have the patience to help me.
Meanwhile, I'll keep hunting up those stories and hopefully find something humorous to post also.
