One cretin. One swine. One barely human creature. One person who doesn't give a fuck about anyone in the world but himself.

Seems impossible, doesn't it? One horrible beast sitting in the Oval Office has turned us into a divided people who hate each other with a burning passion.

The divisions between us have been there for decades (centuries?) but, aside from the Civil War, we have never been at each others throats to the degree we are today.

And it really is a matter of degree. Racism, bigotry, and hatred of "The Other" has always existed in America. But Trump put it all on the front burner, and here we are, hating each others guts and wishing for each other's deaths.

So let me say this. The horrors I've stated here do not have to be. And the hatreds I've described must be brought under control before we all destroy each other.

Donald Trump unleashed the passions that already existed. And may he rot in whatever hell may exist.

But we must come to terms with each other. We cannot allow our differences to destroy us. We must not let hatred become a way of life.

Somehow, someway, we must push aside the hatred. There are many issues on which we will never agree, but are really willing to murder each other over them..

To repeat, our differences have always been there. But until Trump came along, we were able to live together, more or less, in peace.

Time to crush the existence and memory of one of the most horrible people in the world and get back to where we were. It's either that, or we will buy into his poison and his malevolence and we will destroy ourselves.
