Nothing flashy but the choices are people who are highly regarded.
He isn't picking cabinet and senior advisors by how much they donated to him and what department they most want to destroy? Appointing celebrity politicians to posts just to make some section of the base happy?
This cabinet is going to be highly qualified and competent. We are going to do well regardless, but winning those two GA seats will open up a lot of things for us.

I want to see Mayor Pete in there somewhere. I also wanted Klobachar in the cabinet. But, I don't know about that Senate seat issue, although I understand the point. Some of my favorites may have to be place holders in order to save the country.
I like the pace at which he is picking. I admit, I'm wary, but so far so good.

(17,602 posts)unless there are changes and improvements to the institutions, we can only be trusted as a nation under Democratic Presidents. Under Repug, dictators will prosper and all our treaties are meaningless. I think the world knows that now.
