That Trump believes "The Democrats" will make an offer to not prosecute him if he causes so much trouble before 01/20/2021, in return for him to stop causing trouble.

Its a ridiculous idea, because once he is no longer POTUS, there is no such "agreement" which anyone could be held to regarding State or Federal prosecution that would protect him. Trump can't have a legal team draft a "non-prosecution agreement" document where he pledges to follow the law if they drop investigations - and then the DOJ and NYAG are bound by it. There is no such legal concept.
