(16,616 posts)fools who would give their SS#s to a chat site are the same people who refuse to give their phone numbers to contact tracers. Wish I could remember who it was so I could give them credit.

(939 posts)They didn't ask me for my SSN. The only information I gave them was an email that is not my primary one.

PARLER users were NOT required to provide SSNs (I have an account, it only required a name and email address). The data breach had to do with Parler INFLUENCERS (the equivalent of Twitter "Verified Accounts".).

I'm just curious as to how they verify the SSN is accurate?
What service or process does this?
Do they do a no-impact credit pull?
