Why is Joe Scarborough everywhere all of a sudden?

I’ve seen him alone or with Mika half a dozen times this week. We Left Coasters don’t have much of a relationship with Morning Joe because it’s on before most of us are up, but I see derivatives and know who (and what) he is. But seems like he’s got something going.

A book? A show? I must admit I’ve not been actually watching his appearances.

We don’t call it shameless when others do it, such as Obama very recently. Of course, Scarborough is supposedly a journalist, so I’m not sure about the ethics of that. Maybe it’s okay, because he isn’t a real journalist. 🥴

and I have no problem with folks going on late shows promoting books - using their programs and other programs on their networks is shameless. I agree that they all do it but this one is hawking on steroids.

two months. There was even a “special” on the book this afternoon. It might be the same special that was on this morning. The hawking of this book is shameless.

And his whining wife. They were ready for Trump to win and Mika has done some good things for women’s issues but I’m still sick of em. They’ve since seen what a mistake it was cheering for IT but I’m not watching them.

Other than that and his book I don't know - and don't care. I seriously dislike Scarborough so don't watch him at all.

The M in MSNBC must stand for merchandising.

The Editorial Reviews that are reproduced on the amazon page for his book (Saving Freedom) are all regular guests on Morning Joe - Jon Meacham, Claire McClaskill, Eugene Robinson, David Ignatius. I have nothing against these fine folks, but it seems dishonest on the part of the publisher not to tell people who are thinking of buying the book that the reviewers all get a paycheck from Joe's show.
