Wearing a nice top.
A screen to provide a backdrop that hides things.
All else has less priority.
I think the hair stubble on the legs is a nice touch. My guess is that the artist is female.

When I worked at NBC Radio, he’d show up regularly on the third floor where the network news ops were based.

Above the waist: nice clean ironed white shirt and necktie. And proper, well-fitting suit jacket. And perfect hair.

Below the waist: rumpled shorts, ratty sneakers and socks, and lots of hairy leg. Because when he did his standup, he was always shot close-up, maybe at most, from mid-chest-level, OR seated behind an anchor desk.

Sometimes David Letterman would wander in, to voice a regular feature for the radio network. Hell, he didn’t even bother to tidy up above the waist. Old baggy sweat pants and sweat shirt with a - um - “relaxed” neckline, and hair that hadn’t seen a comb for what looked like several days. He ALWAYS looked like he’d just rolled (not climbed, ROLLED) out of bed. What you could get away with, if you were on the radio!

The Chinese takeout container, coffee cup, computer on a stack of books, weights on the floor nearby, laundry on the bed, messiness, pink slippers and two kitties laying nearby are all accurate. I think I need to go clean my apartment.

And by `personal, not professional office` I mean `a desk with a PC in a spare bedroom.`

The mess is somewhat congruent, though.

I fondly recall one where she is trying to introduce a cat to her dog (who is spaazing out): "I want you to think good thoughts about a pussycat."

And, of course, his very BEST, tho highly NYC-centric, one of his little old lady spaazing out at the OTB windows at GCT "Whaddya mean I can't buy a ticket to Scarsdale!"

Anyone who used GCT many years ago as I did remember when they changed out those ticket windows for Off Track Betting!

.... of empty Amazon boxes. Our local Food-Mart often has "hoax believers" shopping in the narrow isles without masks and consideration for safe distances. I have had them reach around me or over my shoulder to reach something on the shelf.

We decided to eliminate that unsafe situation and set up an Amazon subscription. The only person we have to worry about is the UPS or USPS person.

We leave the boxes in the "mudroom" for a day or two.

The moment we have a safe usable vaccine and the local Covid numbers drop significantly. We will gladly return to our old shopping routines.

My brother lives in an area where the unmasked think nothing of coming up behind you to reach for an item in the store. So he ordered these T-shirts that day “back off. I’m social distancing.” Trouble is they only say it on the front so now he’s taken to wearing them backwards.
