appointed Special Counsel to investigate the origins of the Trump-Russia probe, granting him authority to complete the work without being easily fired by Biden. He was appointed last October.

12. And that's not even original....
This guy was doing it back in the 70's on a grand scale. Ray Blanton, better know as Pardon Me Ray. Lamar Alexander was sworn in and Pardon Me Ray was booted out of office early to staunch the damage. Luckily, the TN constitution didn't specify a date for the transfer of power. Nationally, we're not that lucky.

15. There's got to be someone we haven't thought of for a while...
I don't think it any of the ones who already have some commutation. It could be Cohen because he wouldn't mind talking, I think. But there's someone under the radar, I think, who is worth a lot. Could be DeJoy since he can be pretty sure he's going to get nailed next year for is role, he's got a few pennies, or whatshisname the former Amb. to Europe, Sondland.

Link to tweet TEXT The New York Times
@nytimes Breaking News: President Trump is said to have discussed with advisers whether to grant pre-emptive pardons to his three oldest children and Jared Kushner. A pardon for Rudolph W. Giuliani, President Trump’s lawyer, is certain to prompt accusations that Mr. Trump has used his power to obstruct investigations and insulate himself and his allies. Giuliani Is Said to Have Discussed a Pardon With Trump Their talks occurred as the president’s lawyer continued to loudly promote baseless claims of widespread election fraud that cost Mr. Trump the election. nytimes.com |

after NY, in terms of having heard a low rumbling coming from there. Haven't heard a peep out of NJ but FL (particularly dealing with the issue of Mar-a-Lago and the "living arrangements" ) might be a surprise possibility.
