EXCLUSIVE: Trump's newest star witness to 'voter fraud' who claimed she saw Dominion systems being rigged was on probation for COMPUTER CRIME after plea deal to drop 'obscenity' chargeThe star witness in Trump's 'voter fraud' case in Michigan only finished probation a few months ago for committing computer crime, DailyMail.com can exclusively reveal.
Mellissa Carone, 33, was sentenced to 12 months of probation for the offense in September 2019, stemming from an incident in November 2018.
The mother-of-two had struck a plea deal with Michigan prosecutors, who in turn dropped a first degree obscenity charge against her.

(24,650 posts)You can make up any story you want. Just keep one thing in mind: No aliens.
But no matter how creative and clever you are, you'll never trump Trump for insane plot twists.
Just sayin'.

(292,268 posts)Sitting here wondering how on earth does anyone debase an entire administration in this way? Good effin' grief - this bunch makes lowlife folks look decent.

But whatever you do, stop being stupid. You've destroyed your undeserved heroic reputation.

(32 posts)Hima Kolanagireddy - the all Chinese people look alike lady appears to own an IT staffing company in Farmington.
Is there any connection between Kolanagireddy and this Carone character?
Did Dominion verify Carone was working for them?
Carone said she was a contractor.
Working a 24 hr shift would seem pretty unlikely.

They could have some real fun with this. The material Rudy et. al. is supplying in these final days is significant.

(1 post)Her LinkedIn profile: https://www.linkedin.com/in/mellissacarone/
Looks fake/padded to me. There are a lot of groups/interests IT related, but all over the place. It reads like someone added stuff at random.
Her work experience has two entries for the latest job. Only one has work details.
There are a couple of misspellings that look like the mistakes you make when typing in a hurry - or are sloppy or drunk, etc. 'A' where 'S' should be , for example.
For some reason she took a two year internship job, after she had a degree and years of experience.
All the posted certificates she has are generic work awards. None of them show completion of any training.
None of the certs she supposedly has are dated. For example, A+ Certification - but no date to know when it was completed.
Now, this could all be just the work of a lazy person.
But - as a nearly 30 year IT professional that ran a team of over 60 people globally, and personally have reviewed and interviewed and made hiring decisions for major companies for years... My eye thinks it looks padded, and like it was done in a hurry.
In my experience as well, most IT professionals don't also have time to have 2 kids and be out partying and modeling on the side. Many of us have tattoos though, but not usually ab/pubic ones.
I'm not saying she's fake... But this stinks to the skies.

(27,801 posts)My question: Is a BASc degree from a technical/trade school the equivalent to a BA or BS from a more traditional college/university?
And, it would be interesting to see exactly when her profile was updated. I did a quick scan of her info but didn't see anything indicating when she created her profile and/or updated it. But then, it is 6:45am, in Michigan, and my eyes haven't quite accepted that it is morning, again.

(3,907 posts)In Canada it is an engineering degree.
In the US it is supposed to be an advanced technical degree.
Two things jump out at me in this particular case. One is that she got an Associates degree after getting the BASc. The other is that her BASc is from ITT Tech in 2015.
By that time period ITT was little more than a scam. They used high pressure tactics to get students to take out large loans. They were flagged because their student loan default rates were higher than their graduation rates. They would falsify student grades to help then get more and more loans. Eventually when the government quit allowing them to use GI Bill monies, ITT just shut down in 2016.
Earlier their accrediting board, ACICS, was in the process of pulling their accreditation. Which is interesting because the Dept of Education withdrew ACICS recognition in 2016. So basically. ITT was getting its accreditation pulled by an organization who was getting its accreditation pulled.
Of course, Betsy DeVos reinstated ACICS when she got in.
So long story short - I wouldnt put much weight on her BASc degree.
I remember the ITT situation.
They way she touted her credentials, during the hearing, made me very suspicious. Given her demeanor, her proclamation of having "2 degrees" didn't give her any credibility, in my eyes. I've known some pretty unhinged people with very advanced degrees. The degree means nothing if you can't properly utilize the skills and knowledge.
whopis01
(3,907 posts)That made me laugh. I worked in academia in the past. I too have known some pretty unhinged people with very advanced degrees or who were in the process of getting those degrees. Way more than I would ever have thought.
I don't know if it was always this way and I just eventually realized it, or if it has gotten worse over time - but the more I learned and the more time I spent in that environment, the less and less weight and credence I would put on having a degree of any kind.
Siwsan
(27,801 posts)I verified lots of education, lots of degrees, lots of post grad training, multiple board certifications, and yet there were more than a few that I wouldn't feel comfortable having them take my temperature.
Part of my job was reviewing and investigating malpractice claims - both pending, settled and dismissed. That was some scary information.

(13,783 posts)the absolute lowest-ranking IT type person there is. BASIC. (geek joke). The kind that can barely fix anything. My geekish grandson can probably do rings around her, and my geek-for-life husband would probably blow her out of the water with one keystroke.
But I'll agree, she is a real lulu. Where does Rudy Colludy find these people?
Siwsan
(27,801 posts)After all, birds of a feather are said to flock together.
What amazes me is that people think their shady personal information won't be uncovered. And that's especially amazing when the person being 'uncovered' is supposedly an IT tech.
