It was only a 3.7, but it felt like at least a 4.0. It was only 14 miles from me, at 6km deep. I know it doesn't sound like much, and I shouldn't be so affected. But, those moments when you are waiting to see if it stops are very scary. It was pretty strong.

significant jolt. It really felt like a 4.0 at least. I am a SoCal longtime resident, but I have been through some bad earthquakes, and I always pay attention. Especially the older I get.

Yeah, I got the distance confused with the depth.

Dang, 3.1 is quite shallow. Practically not even an earthquake. What a strange night. And, 42 F tonight.

Haven't kept up with the fires today. Hope they are okay. I doubt they felt the quake.
