It is the sister of a friend, we never met the sister. The friend is a really neat guy, and we feel so bad for him.

Back in February, COVID19 was dying down in China, and it was obvious how seriously China took it. And then Italy. It became *painfully* obvious that every country needed to immediately go into various degrees of lockdown, given the infectiousness, and deadliness of this virus.
Real leadership, that cared about Americans, would have shut the country down as soon as the first verified cases showed up here. It would have only taken 4-6 weeks of shutdown, the economic impacts would have been a fraction of what has occurred. After that, we could have largely opened up, but wearing masks, social distancing, etc. Intelligent people, who had looked at past pandemics knew all of this, and were not just ignored, but politically attacked.
Elections have consequences, we have moral monsters in the Senate, and they stood back and let the juvenile in the WH run his disastrous response, which allowed them to continue to install judges in the federal judiciary with lifetime appointments.
They are the ones responsible for the unnecessary deaths what will be a half million americans, the long term chronic heart, lung and god only knows what else of millions of other americans who "survived" COVID19, but not intact.
The GOP is without a doubt, one of the most immoral organizations on the planet -- killing off the citizens it claims to represent and protect, for the sake of raw power.
