Alex Jones faces calls for arrest after apparent Biden threat

Alex Jones is facing calls for his arrest after the conspiracy theorist told a Donald Trump rally that president-elect Joe Biden will be removed "one way or the other".

The InfoWars host has been accused of attempting to incite violence during his speech at the “Million MAGA march” which was held to drum up support for Mr Trump’s baseless claims of election fraud.

"So I don't know who's going to the White House in 38 days but I sure know this - Joe Biden is a globalist and Joe Biden will be removed one way or another,” Mr Jones said during his appearance at the event.

The speech quickly drew backlash on social media, with some critics demanding Mr Jones be arrested in light of the comments.

Race author and activist Tim Wise tweeted: “Time to arrest Alex Jones. This was a threat against the president-elect. It is not protected speech. Arrest him.”

The Secret Service Is Looking Into Ted Nugent's Potential Threat Against President Obama

Brett LoGiurato
Apr 17, 2012, 5:25 PM

So, over the weekend at the National Rifle Association convention in St. Louis, Ted Nugent said that "if Barack Obama becomes the president in November, again, I will be either be dead or in jail by this time next year.”

Now the Secret Service is looking into the comment.

"We are aware of it, and we are conducting an appropriate follow-up," Secret Service spokesman George Ogilvie told Business Insider via phone. He did not say if the agency was treating the statement as a threat against the President. Oh, and Nugent has also endorsed Mitt Romney, which has prompted Democrats to turn this into their own sort of Hilary Rosen situation.

Nugent's interview, video of which is below via Right Wing Watch, is one of mind-boggling proportions, even for the outlandish statements the "Motor City Madman" has made in the past. He gets into it around the 1:40 mark in the first video, and calls the Obama administration "vile, evil and America-hating." He calls Obama, Attorney General Eric Holder, Vice President Joe Biden and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton "criminals." And he warns that if Obama is elected, the U.S. will become "a suburb of Indonesia."

https://www.businessinsider.com/ted-nugent-obama-statements-provoke-secret-service-probe-2012-4

The end result of this was a "meeting" where they came to an "understanding". I don't recall if he had such inflammatory nonsensical (at least "reported" ) rants after that. I know Joe Madison was doing a countdown on Nugent being "dead or in jail", and just trolled and trolled him.

by design?

I could be mistaken but I saw a documentary on the Florence facility and I recall that they didn't have ant shared cells.

Personally, I think they should go to GITMO.

We already played our hand there. That we have a supermax on military base probably won't bother them. I do think that they shouldn't be allowed to remain on the continent but they need to be detained as well.

The seats are poured concrete, the bed is a concrete platform with a thin mattress thrown on top. Everything is the same color. It's basically legalalized torture in my opinion. The idea behind the concrete with rounded off edges is to reduce suicide risk though some have managed.

I know Florence contains the worst of the worst but long term solitary confinement IS torture. It causes measurable severe psychological damage. The UN banned solitary confinement for periods over 15 days. Some states have taken steps to reduce supermax numbers.

I don't see any legal recourse for veiled, dog-whistle threats...but I'm not an attorney. If there was rational recourse, tRump would be locked up for life, if only for encouraging citizens to disregard safety measures against COVID-19.

Spanking on the hand is of no long-term meaning to Rethugs. Just look at Rodger Stone.

We need to figure out ways to force these animals out of the spotlight and publicly shame them until they crawl back under their rock and stay there.

No one would lose a thing if he and his type's "free speech" zone were limited to a 4X8 cell.

If things get much more sideways on the election issue, the gun violence in the streets will accelerate to a point where mass arrests are unavoidable. It will become, then, more universally acknowledged that the "rabble rousers" must be held responsible.

So indulge me a bit: Unless they want to be "collateral damage" and convenient targets for Fox news, the BLM people need to stay off the streets for a while and let Joe handle it. There's no need to serve up good folks as ritual sacrifices to "both-sider" spotlighting by the MAGA media. They'll continue to hold every BLM arrest as equal to and counterpoint for scenes of city streets littered with bodies killed and wounded by the ammo/camo, proud boys characters.

Just stay away until this transition drama plays out. Let it then be obvious to all and easily proven that the evidence shows the violence is ALL from one side. Show the side now stocking up on "2nd amendment supplies" as the sole guilty party. Their culpability must be universally agreed, common knowledge because that's the only way Biden will have the necessary moral high ground required to influence the governors' response when/if they call for massive national guard deployment. An action that could remove their armed ranks of immaturity from the national and perhaps even the world scene for a long while.

Please, you've been waiting for centuries. Surely you can wait just a little longer. Wait until you see their terror in "the whites of THEIR eyes". Then the whole country just might finally unite against them instead of you. And your voice will finally be heard in the ensuing silence. It's a Dr. King moment.
