Christian ‘financial guru’ and radio host Dave Ramsey throws large indoor Christmas party

Dave Ramsey, a Christian radio host and “financial guru,” threw a huge indoor Christmas party at his Tennessee headquarters, continuing months of downplaying the COVID pandemic.

The Saturday night party, held at Ramsey Solutions in Franklin, just outside Nashville, had a 1,500-person invite list and workers were encouraged to not wear masks to “avoid “making the guests feel uncomfortable,” violations of Tennessee’s COVID public health guidelines.

“There was absolutely no [social] distancing being practiced,” an anonymous worker told the Nashville Scene, estimating that 1,000 guests, many sans mask, attended.

The state has a mask mandate for public areas, but not for private property.
According to other anonymous attendees, Ramsey hired a large private security contingent to make sure uninvited guests did not get to observe what happened at the party. Several media outlets reported being intimidated away from the party’s entrance by private security.

Ramsey has previously encouraged the spread of COVID by not requiring his employees to wear masks, calling other public health measures “totalitarian,” holding large conferences at the company’s headquarters to skirt responsible business’ temporary rules and referring to the rising death totals as a hoax.

They have in their mind that the virus was bioengineered in a Chinese laboratory and was spread in order to stoke fear in the masses and longing for a vaccine. Then the government will come with the wicked vaccine that will cause all sorts of things, ranging from sterility to various mental disorders and illnesses. Or something like that. They have their 'reasons' for spreading it, but they're banking on the fact that these vaccines will have some side effects, and when a few people start having some problems is when they'll really ratchet up the hysteria.

because his advice is so absurd. He told some lady on his show that she should be able to pay off a 200k home loan in 6 years. The lady was literally speechless, except for some guttural noise. I started laughing, then turned his show off.

Money management and budgeting are like losing weight. We all know how to do it; we just don’t want to go through the pain and sacrifice.

This guy is a charlatan.

No surprise.

And he got his front office staff tested back in April, when it was really hard to get tests in a fucking hospital. Two people tested positive, and he sent everyone to work from home, because you know, he could get it...

To Ramsey, the Christian thing to do is to keep the economy going full steam no matter how many die.
