The fringe right-wing lawyer who filed the court challenge to Donald Trump’s election loss in Georgia has called on the president’s supporters to stock up on “Second Amendment supplies” — presumably firearms and ammunition — to prepare for what he apparently envisions as an apocalyptic future.

“Our leader is Donald Trump, not Biden,” attorney Lin Wood tweeted Sunday.

“Make sure you have PLENTY of water, food, flashlights & batteries, candles, radio, 2nd Amendment supplies, & a plan to meet with leaders of your communities,” he urged. He included a photo of Trump with the caption: “I’m still your president.”

7. I lived off-grid

in rural Wisconsin in a yurt all year round for years...literally shitting in a bucket. These over-stuffed Walmartians would die in mere days trying to live as I did...they are all about the guns and that's it. I doubt many of them know how to filter water from a stream or forage or do any of the difficult parts of survival other than shoot the occasional deer.

a concern that the RW extremists would get more frantic and crazy the closer we get to inauguration because of their unwillingness to accept Trump's loss and Biden's win.

We saw what happened over this past weekend in DC. I think I also read that Flynn said in a speech that Biden would be prevented from being sworn in.

So I think in the coming weeks we might see more incidents of violence like in DC. I really, really hope that the FBI, CIA, and SS are doing more than monitoring these groups. I hope there is a plan for action against them. Unfortunately, in too many communities, we can't count on police, or not on all of them, to step up to handle outbreaks of violence.
