PB don't have the numbers. But that doesn't mean they should be dismissed out of hand. As we know it only takes one. They need to be taken seriously, like the repukes who were supporting the overthrow of our democracy.

Some of them need to be arrested and prosecuted.

However, as a society, we should not be cowed by small groups of disgruntled people. While they are noisy and carry firearms around in public places, mostly they are cowards.

A few of them who are truly unhinged might actually do violent things. Those need to be arrested and prosecuted. Most, however, are just hangers-on who want to be part of a "movement." When it comes down to standing their ground, though, they will not be there for that sort of thing.

It's important that we not live in fear of cowardly bullies.

I recommend just laughing at them when they show up in public. Don't engage them. Just shake your head, laugh, and go on about your business. They thrive on verbal conflicts. Just ignore them, or chuckle at them, and then move on. Leave the to the law enforcement folks if they engage in dangerous actions.

27. Something needs to be done. Law enforcement has too often looked the other way.

Not 100% sure what the remedy is legally but what they have been doing is, s/b terrorism. Since there seems to be a lack of policing at the local level, maybe it has to be federal. And maybe any new laws should deal with how the police do their job to start with. Hold the police accountable. PB probably count on not being prosecuted for crimes they commit in other states. Last weekend showed us quite well they don't want just verbal conflicts. They want terrorism.
