Joel Osteen denied accepting any money from Federal PPP loans. Turns out his Lakewood Church took $4.4 million.

(16,254 posts)Children are starving and people will soon be thrown out of their apartments/homes, but good ol' Joel lives in luxury with no qualms about what he has done.
We have heard of so many of these situations (I call violations), but I never hear they had to give back the money.
I hope they have an enjoyable Christmas holiday while these children are heartbroken. Their holiday will be pretty bleak with little food or few gifts under the tree.
These evangelists irritate me as much as the money-changer politicians. Both steal money from those least able to afford their contributions, but are looking for an end to their suffering. Jesus looked down on both, as should we.

Time to break their exploitative bad habits.
