Republicans are furious with Trump for pocketing the money they need for the Georgia runoffs: MSNBCs Kasie Hunt
During an MSNBC Morning Joe discussion on Donald Trumps actions in the waning days of his presidency, co-host Wille Geist noted the president is spending all his days playing victim in order to scam conservative voters out of more money, which contributor Kasie Hunt said is pissing off Republicans on the Hill.
As Geist explained, Theyre still making a lot of money off that victimhood that has been at the center of Donald Trumps story for so many years. Hes now the victim of the media, hes the victim of Democrats, hes become the victim of courts, hes become the victim of state electors doing their job and the victim of the three Supreme Court justices he nominated and got confirmed to the Supreme Court.
So the narrative of victimhood has to remain in place for the story to continue and for the money to keep flowing and, as you said, Donald Trump is raising a ton of money, Geist told co-host Joe Scarborough. There are the text messages and emails to the supporters to prove it. We need $35 right now to continue to prosecute that case and that money goes somewhere else, so hes hustling his own voters to build up his own pocketbook and the pocketbook of the Republican Party.
To your earlier point very, very quickly, Hunt began. The money that Republicans are gathering, that President Trump is raising Republicans on the Hill, theyre pissed off because they are taking that money and they are saying, Oh, you have to help us win these elections in Georgia to win the Senate majority. The Trump team is taking that money and doing things for themselves with it.

Trump antagonizes Republicans with Georgia fundraising ploy
President Donald Trump couldnt make it any clearer: He needs his supporters to fork over cash for the all-important Georgia Senate runoff elections.
We MUST defend Georgia from the Dems! he wrote in one recent text message. I need YOU to secure a WIN in Georgia, he said in another. Help us WIN both Senate races in Georgia & STOP Socialist Dems, he pleaded a few days later.
Theres just one hitch: Trumps new political machine is pocketing most of the dough and the campaigns of the Georgia senators competing in the Jan. 5 races arent getting a cent."

(11,443 posts)I posted about it back when he hit the 150 million dollar mark back in late November. Now he is on his way to 300 million. Let's hope he bleeds them dry and when it does finally dry up, he takes his criminal gang of grifters off to some land far, far away. It will make most of these contributors think twice before ever again forking out their cash to repuke candidates.

(4,166 posts)In 2016 he said that the VP would handle the foreign and domestic issues. That meant he just wanted the photo ops.
Now he claims victimhood and pulls in money for court cases even his lawyers know are going nowhere. Oh, but the money to be made from the base supporters....$10, $20, $30 at a time. Stiff the lawyers as much as possible.

Been in plain sight for the past 5 years. Dumpster has never done anything for the benefit of others. He is a major scam artist, a conniver and a hustler. He was before he got into politics and he elevated his game once he was.
Do not feel one bit of sorry for those whining Republicans. In fact super glad he's hurting their efforts in the Ga. Senate races.
May De Santis be next

(2,430 posts)...he is giving them ample evidence that he's going to be gone soon. The fuller he can fill his pockets, the better. He needs all the cash he can abscond with before Jan 20 so these ridiculous lawsuits continue even now and his pleas for donations for Lloefler and Purdue are just fattening his pockets. His chaos will remain, but he'll soon be gone. He knows what's coming for him at 12:01 Jan 20, 2021 and he won't be around to put on the cuffs. Then we'll be right back here making fun of his victims again.
